great site I love it. When it is very cold my thermonerter is about 5-9 degres lower than you I think it is because I live in indian lakes near one of the lakes~!

Jonathan's comments   Glad you like it. Our temp monitor is very accurate, being calibrated every few months. Down in Indian Lakes, you can experience cold settling, where the cold air settles down into the valley. We are up on top of the hill, so we can actually experience warming during the evening while the valley stays cold. Keep an eye on it when the next storm blows in, you should see the higher elevation get cooler. Also, watch it in the summer, the higher elevation will experience a breeze that should make it a couple degrees cooler here. Take care!

I love your weather site. I found it about one year ago. I have lived in Coarsegold since 1988 and it continues to change. I live off Meadow Ridge and probably can see right where you are at. Keep up the good work on your fantastic weather station.
